Cooking and baking are both passions of mine especially right now when my daughter and I are working on our Hungarian cookbook. Our focus is on dinners and desserts more than breakfast so we tend to grab and go to work.

We like to eat something in the morning that will last until lunch. We have tried oatmeal, toast and smoothies. These all work for us but we thought we would try something new, no bake energy balls. They are made with oatmeal, coconut, peanut butter, dark chocolate chunks, honey and vanilla.

We had all of the ingredients in our pantry already. We simply mixed all of the ingredients together in a large bowl, covered the bowl and placed the bowl in the fridge until the mixture was chilled. We removed the mixture and rolled the ingredients into one inch balls. We made twenty balls.

In order to complete this recipe you will need the ingredients, measuring spoons and measuring cups as well as a mixing bowl and a food storage container. They will stay fresh for up to one week if they are in a sealed container in the fridge or up to three months if you place them in the freezer.
